Buddy Guy Way Dedication

Before legendary bluesman Buddy Guy became legendary, he was born in a small wooden shack with no electricity in a small town on the East bank of the Atchafalaya River called Lettsworth, La. Today, various Louisiana and Mississippi officials, Pointe Coupee Parish Police Jury officials, and Pointe Coupee Parish Tourism Commissioners will unveil a historical marker at Buddy Guy's place of birth on Highway 418 to officially designate the highway as "Buddy Guy Way." 1 pm–4 pm. pctourism.org.
