Birdfeeders and a Storywalk

Today at the Northlake Nature Center, learn how to make a bird feeder with Meghan Michel, a Girl Scout earning her Gold Award by teaching children the joy of nature and building confidence in girls as leaders for the future. A Storywalk, co-presented by the St. Tammany Parish Library, follows from noon–3 pm. Walk the trails at the Northlake Nature Center while reading an interactive story along the way! No reservations required. Free to the public. Bring a snack or lunch to enjoy a picnic before or after. Stroller and wheelchair accessible. northlakenature.org.
