Discover Nature: Butterfly Buffet

Loice Kendrick-Lacy will be speaking at LSU Hilltop Arboretum's Beverly Brown Coates Auditorium this evening as part of the Discover Nature series that the arboretum, along with the Capital Area Native Plant Society and the Louisiana Master Naturalist of Greater Baton Rouge, are putting on this spring. Kendrick-Lacy will speak about the butterfly festival that she started in Haynesville, Louisiana, in 1999 (still going strong) and tips and tricks for enjoying and attracting butterflies from her 2012 book, Gardening to Attract Butterflies: Beauty and the Beast. 6:30 pm. $5 members, $10 nonmembers.
