A week-long wooden boat cruise down Bayou Teche, the Cajun Classique’s route this year begins in Berwick, and charts a sedate course for over a hundred miles along the historic waterway to arrive in Arnaudville. Highlights this year include Oaklawn Manor, crawfish boil, zydeco breakfast, La Poussiere (oldest Cajun dancehall in Acadiana), NUNU (local folk art gallery), crawfish etouffee cooking demo, swamp tour, and so much more. Participants bring beautifully restored wooden craft from several surrounding states to take part.
