Cajun Heritage Festival

The art and culture of wood carving is this festival's raison d'être; it's a celebration that has been going on for almost fifty years now. There'll be a decoy show and auction, carving demos, duck calling, raffles and more. And with a name like Cajun Heritage, rest assured there'll be plenty of jambalaya and other traditional treats on hand. Inside the Larose Civic Center. Free. Details at the Cajun Heritage Festival Facebook page.
