Carol Scott's show Summertime Lacunae, a collection of vibrant scenes and portraits in colored pencil, will be on display at Gallery 600 Julia through July, with an artist reception on July 6 from 6 pm–8 pm. Scott has had a prolific visual arts career in New Orleans and across the South, showcasing her work and establishing two art programs at Ganus High School and the University of Holy Cross.
