Since opening in October 2016, Toups South has been Chef/Co-owner Isaac Toups’ culinary playground for imaginative southern regional cuisine. Now, fans and foodies will have the opportunity to spend one night a month with the talented toque at his new intimate off-menu dinner series, Counter Club. The monthly theme dinners, priced at only $50 per person (excluding beverages, tax and gratuity), will include four courses, plus an amuse bouche and welcome cocktail. For the premiere dinner, Toups and Chef de Cuisine Seamus Rozycki will serve up “A Fowl Experience” featuring inventive dishes such as duck breast larb – a Lao salad with butter lettuce, minced duck breast, butter lettuce, Thai chili and puffed rice and pickled quail eggs with caviar. Themes for upcoming Counter Club dinners will be revealed the first week of each month; menus will be unavailable for viewing until arriving at Toups South.
