Chef Soirée at the Covington Trailhead is the annual fundraising gala for the St. Tammany Youth Service Bureau, an organization that provides advocacy, counseling, education, and intervention for at-risk youth and their families. In between the parade that kicks off the event and the fireworks finale, dozens of Northshore food and beverage establishments will dish out their specialties while live bands spin the crowd on the dance floor. Plus a $25 raffle ticket buys a chance to win a 2020 Ford Mustang or a 2020 Ford Escape, among other prizes. So that's kind of tasty. $145. 5 pm–9 pm. chefsoiree.com.
