Children's Garden Series: Vermicomposting

As part of LSU AgCenter's Children's Garden Series, visitors (especially those aged 6–12) are invited to a hands-on presentation on vermicomposting, where they will learn how to create their very own worm-filled composing bin. Fruit and vegetable specialist Kiki Fontenot heads the mini-course. Parents are required to stay with their child throughout the event; snacks and take-home crafts will be provided. 9 am–11 am. $15 per child; registration required.
