Children's Mardi Gras with Lafourche Parish Library

Let the little ones live it up this Mardi Gras with the Lafourche Parish Public Library this carnival season. Several branches will host walking/stroller Mardi Gras parades for preschoolers in February and early March. Children are invited to dress in costume and to bring their favorite throws.
February 21: Lockport Library's "Krewe of Once Upon a Time," 10: 30 am at the Town of Lockport's Bayou Side Park.
February 27: Thibodaux Library's "Krewe of Bookworms," 9:15 am at the Warren J. Harang Jr. Municipal Auditorium.
March 1: South Lafourche Library's "Krewe de les Petits Enfants," 10:30 am in the library parking lot (16241 E. Main Street in Cut Off).
March 1: Gheens Library's "Krewe du Gheens," 4:30 pm in the library parking lot (153 N. Leon Drive).
