CJ Solar Release Party at the Texas Club
The Texas Club 456 North Donmoor Avenue, Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70806
It's been one helluva year for Nashville songwriter CJ Solar, all leading up to the April release of his sophomore EP, "Get Away With It" with Sea Gayle Records. And for this Baton Rouge native, there is no place better to start that party than in his hometown's premiere country music venue, the Texas Club.
His first single off the album, called "Airplane," released this past November, is making waves across close to 100 radio stations across the country while climbing its way up the top 30 on the Music Row chart.
Solar has garnered acclaim in the country music realm from his debut album "Hard One to Turn Down," and has been named by Rolling Stone Country as one of the "10 New Artists You Need to Know". He recently co-wrote the Morgan Wallace song "UpDown" featuring Florida Georgia Line, which is already in the top twenty of the Billboard Country Music charts after 11 weeks on the air. He's also written popular music for big name artists including Jerrod Nieman, Kyle Parks, Mike Ryan, and Justin Moore.
Doors open at 8:30 pm ahead of Jordan Babin's opening acoustic performance at 9:30 pm. $10 GA. $20 VIP. Tickets can be purchased at thetexasclub.com. For more on CJ Solar, visit cjsolar.com
