Community Health Summit & Festival

For the fifth year, Beacon Community Connections hosts its Health Summit to educate the community about personal health and wellness. This year's Summit is themed “Elevating the Conversation," to be held at the Acadiana Center for the Arts. Immediately following the educational Summit, the Community Health Festival will be open to the public on Vermilion Street featuring live music, food trucks, vendors, and more showcases of community health initiatives. Summit 8:30 am–11:30 am; Festival follows immediately at 11:30 am. Tickets for the Summit begin at $55; Festival admission is free. lahealthsummit.com.
