The Historic New Orleans Collection’s galleries open onto one of the French Quarter’s most picturesque and historic interior courtyards. On spring and fall Fridays HNOC puts that courtyard to good use, presenting outdoor concerts by some of the city’s most accomplished traditional musicians. This month it'll be the Colin Lake Band. 6 pm–8 pm at 533 Royal Street. Admission, which costs $10 and includes three complimentary beverages, places these concerts among New Orleans’ best-value evenings out.
