In conjunction with Country Roads' inaugural "All Roads Lead to Home" Young Writers Contest, Managing Editor Lucie Monk Carter and Arts & Entertainment Editor Jordan LaHaye will present a short presentation on how to craft a tantalizing, keeps-an-editor-up-at-night magazine pitch—the first step to getting published. They'll also offer an overview of how a story moves from vague idea to print, touching on publishing processes such as curating, editing, and fact-checking.
