CrawfishMan Triathlon

Since 1983, the CrawfishMan Race has brought athletes to the Northshore to compete in one of the greatest endurance feats in the land. The picturesque landscape of Bush, Louisiana makes for an ideal early season triathlon (before it gets too hot), and features Grande Hills Lake for the 1000-meter (there is also a 400-meter option for beginner triathloners) swim, an eighteen-mile bicycle track of scenic roads, and a four-mile hilly run within the Grande Hill Estates subdivision. 7:30 am. $130; $105 for the 400-meter swim option. crawfishmantri.com.
