Creatives in Tech
ThreeSixtyEight 212 South 14th Street, Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70802
As we all grow increasingly tethered to (and tangled up in) technology, it's heartening to know there's still a human touch to innovations in the field. Local creative agency ThreeSixtyEight closes out their conference series, Assembly Required, with the theme of "Creatives in Tech." Hear from Chris Stapleton, co-founder of Virtual World Society, who specializes in unusual pairings of industries and communities with the goal of atypical problem-solving; and Chris Meaux, founder of the wildly popular food delivery service WaitrApp. Christina Troitino, Channel Marketing Manager of Facebook, and Cathy Novelli, Global Head of Corporate Marketing at Quantcast, will both weigh in on the future of marketing tech. Adobe's Senior Creative Director Adam Morgan will speak on on strategic creativity and data-driven marketing and design; and Sam Tarantino, the music man behind Chromatic.fm and former CEO of Grooveshark, will take the stage to share his real-time, real-people music service geared toward listeners and musicians alike. 9 am–6:30 pm at the new ThreeSixtyEight space at 212 South 14th Street. $60. Tickets on sale until January 24. assemblyrequiredla.com.
