Creole, of Course

As a dress rehearsal for the 2018 tricentennial, internationally-known catering company Centerplate is staging a multi-sensory, multi-media culinary and historic excursion through the city's ever-evolving story. The production is a two-hour jazz dinner theatre show with live narration by author Morgan Molthrop, dancing by the Wild Bamboulas, music by the Shotgun Jazz Band, and cuisine by Chef Stephan Blaser. The production also promises the involvement of hundreds of local artists, scholars, videographers, and entrepreneurs. 5:30 pm–7:30 pm at 900 Convention Center Boulevard. Tickets from Eventbrite.
