The crimson bounty is upon us …

French Market 1008 North Peters Street, New Orleans, Louisiana 70116

It's the 34th year celebrating summer's favorite bounty: fresh tomatoes. These juicy fruits take over the French Market every year to mark the official opening of Creole tomato season. This year, instead of festival booths and music stages, check out the online list of musicians who will be performing live, plus a list of take-out restaurants and the tomato-themed dishes they'll be serving up for delivery and take-out. In partnership with Crescent City Farmers Market, the Crescent City Farmers Drive Thru Market in partnership with the Creole Tomato Festival will take place Saturday, June 13, at Crescent Park’s Rusty Rainbow and Sunday, June 14, at Parkway Bakery from 8 am–noon on both dates. Orders will only be accepted in advance by way of WhatsGood beginning Monday, June 8, and ending Friday, June 12, at sourcewhatsgood.com/markets. Once in the WhatsGood website/app, look for the Creole Tomato Fest logo. Also check out some ripe and ready detail deals at local stores like Pop City, NOLA Couture, and Baby One.
