At the newly-opened Teche Center for the Arts, an evening of music and art beckons this Tuesday. Traditional French Louisiana musician David Greely will be celebrating the release of his album, Shadows-on-the-Teche, created as part of the year-long Art and Shadows program. Images from Lynda Frese’s Art & Shadows series will be projected behind Greely while he plays. The evening will feature a conversation with artists Greely and Frese about their time as artists-in-residence at the Shadows, moderated by Pat Kahle, historian and Executive Director at Shadows-on-the-Teche.
