The historic Dew Drop Jazz & Social Hall, the venerable 118-year-old rural jazz venue, will host two concerts in December:
• December 1: David L. Harris: Trombone player, vocalist and composer envisions each song as an emotional journey, with sounds rooted in jazz, blues, and swing music. His first solo album, featuring a masterful team of musicians accompanying him, is titled "Blues I Felt" and debuted at the beginning of this year.
• December 15: Peter Harris Trio and Germaine Bazzle: New Orleans native and bassist Peter Harris has played with everyone from the Preservation Hall Jazz Band to Ellis Marsalis, and on December 15 will join New Orleans jazz legend, vocalist Germaine Potter Bazzle for a night of classic American jazz and more.
