Derby Day Luncheon

On this fine Derby Day, trust no one more with crafting a mint julep than the Herb Society of America—Baton Rouge Unit. At this luncheon, to be held in The Orangerie at the Burden Center, guests will enjoy mint juleps of several kinds, including lovely lavender. Wear your fanciest hat, bring your friends, and brush up on your Kentucky Derby—there will be quizzes in addition to an elegant luncheon, favors, and stately decorations, including the Burden Center's Rose Garden in full bloom. You'll be home before the first pistol is fired. Prizes will be awarded for the best Derby Day hat—but you were already planning to go all out, weren't you?
