Visitors of all ages are invited to a special "Devil's Elbow" tour at Port Hudson State Historic Site's battlefield. This excursion will begin at the park's museum with a car caravan through old Port Hudson, along the historic bluff's to the site's location. The "Devil's Elbow" was a heavily-defended Confederate strongpoint. Colorful accounts of life in the trenches at Port Hudson will be shared. This section of the battlefield is normally inaccessible throughout the year. 9 am–noon. Free. lastateparks.com.
