Disney Book Launch Exhibit
Centenary State Historic Site 3522 College Street, Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70748
Centenary College's Meadows Museum is celebrating the success of local Shreveport author and illustrator Kirk Reedstrom, who launched a graphic novel series with Disney this past March. The Duck & Moose graphic novels, aimed for ages six through nine, tell the story of an unlikely friendship between a quiet Moose and a free-wheeling Duck. To mark the release, the museum is hosting an exhibit showcasing the behind the scenes creative process and artwork of the graphic novel. The exhibit will be displayed until May 3, but to meet the author, don't miss a book signing and talk with him on April 4 at 6:30 pm. kirkreedstrom.com.
