Terrebonne Museum at Southdown Plantation 1208 Museum Drive, Lockport, Louisiana 70360
The Terrebonne Museum at Southdown Plantation features Lockport artist Dolores Legendre in its latest quarterly exhibition. Evident in Legendre's works—including watercolors, oils, and pen-and-ink drawings—is a love of Southeast Louisiana and her Cajun heritage. See her tender perspectives from October 1 until December 10, with a reception on October 9 from 2 pm–4 pm. A generous bonus: Legendre and her husband Daniel are donating free 16 ½” x 30” prints of her work entitled “The Lord’s Supper” to everyone that attends the reception or comes by to view the exhibit. 1208 Museum Drive. Museum hours are 10 am–3 pm on Tuesday–Saturday. southdownmuseum.org.
