Perhaps like a rain dance, the End-of-Summer Celebration will bring a blessed end to boiling temperatures and snarling mosquitoes. But maybe the good folks in New Iberia just want to give proper tribute to the many fine qualities of summer while they can. Pack a lunch and sunscreen and head to City Park Recreation Center for this picnic & field day. Games, relays, and lots more to enjoy. Children must be accompanied by an adult. 11 am–1 pm.
