Every Wednesday in April, the New Orleans Botanical Garden in City Park extends its hours and invites all to marvel not only at the garden's luscious beauty and sculptures, but free live music performances. Kitchen in the Garden will be open and serving food and drinks for purchase every week. Here's the live music schedule:
April 5:
Harpist and composer Patrice Fisher with special guests. 5 pm–7:30 pm.
April 12:
Geovane Santos, guitarist, singer and composer. 5 pm–6 pm.
Manuel Arteaga, guitarist and singer. 6:15 pm–7:30 pm.
April 19:
Sincopado, Bruno Elisabetsky, guitarist, singer and composer. 5 pm–6 pm.
Merengue 4, Fermin Ceballos, guitarist, singer and composer. 6:15 pm–7:30 pm.
April 26:
Rumba Buena: Johnny Marcia, percussionist and band leader. 5 pm–7:30 pm.
