Eye of the Beholder Open Competition Exhibit and Awards

From watercolors, to pen and ink, to pottery, to sculpture, and beyond––works of many of Lafayette's most talented visual artists will be on display for the Lafayette Art Association's annual open competition and awards. Ribbons will be awarded to first, second, and third place in each category, as well as for a maximum of two awards of merit and one "best in show"—all first-place winners and "best in show" will receive a cash prize. The awards ceremony will take place October 29 from 5 pm–7 pm. Submissions of artwork will be accepted through October 8. Entry fee is $30 for under three pieces of art, and $10 for additional pieces for non-members. For complete rules and submission application, visit lafayetteart.org.
