Far-Out First Friday: New Year Spectacular

The first Friday of every month calls for a special evening of planetarium shows at the Louisiana Art & Science Museum. From journeying to the furthest reaches of our universe in exploration of dark matter to experiencing familiar music in a bright new way, what will this month’s shiny new “dark” lineup spark in you?

• 7 pm: Double Feature: Waiting Far Away and Journey to the Center of the Milky Way (Free)
• 8 pm: Synesthesia: Champagne Sky ($5.50 members, $7.50 non-members)
• 9 pm: Pink Floyd eXperience: The Best of Pink Floyd ($5.50 members, $7.50 non-members)

Doors open at 6:30 pm. Show admission is limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis, and there is no late seating. Ages 3 and up. lasm.org.
