Faux/Real (formerly Fringe Fest) is the annual arts festival that stages ground-breaking creative works in theatre, literature, food, and drink in unexpected surroundings. The mission? Three weeks of top-tier performances, readings, tastings, and parties, all one-of-a-kind experiences for adventurous audiences. Upwards of sixty venues all over the city host various components of the festival, including avant garde theatre performances, readings and pop-up bookstores, cocktail-mixing events, a food truck park that takes shape on St. Claude each Friday and Saturday. Kids will also have plenty to do at one of the family friendly plays or at a Real/Kids event (time TBA).
