Culinary herbalist Sarah Liberta returns to Chef John Folse's White Oak Plantation and Farm to explore the flavorful and fragrant herbs that flourish in South Louisiana’s fall gardens. Her presentation will include techniques for growing, harvesting, and using fresh herbs to enhance favorite dishes. Guests will enjoy a chef’s cooking demonstration featuring one of the dishes from the herb-filled three-course lunch presented by Chef Folse and his White Oak Plantation culinary team. They will also get to tour White Oak’s lush gardens and take home HERBS by Sarah articles, recipes, and a complimentary herb plant for their garden. $50. 11 am-2 pm. eventbrite.com.
