The month of October brings horrors of the most delicious sort to Mandeville, starting with the Fearfest Paranormal Festival, put on by the Jessica Marie Pitre Foundation and Paralynx Network. At the Castine Center, expect to find paranormal luminaries, cosplay competitions, paranormal investigators, demonologists, automatic writers, authors, actors, psychics, Tarot readers, mediums, and more, plus concerts every night. $35; $15 for children ages 6–12; free for kids 5 and younger.
