The Krewe of Rex has rolled in New Orleans since 1872, each year crowning a distinguished Rex, or "King of Carnival". To mark The Krewe's 150th anniversary, The Historic New Orleans Collection is presenting an exhibition titled Fit for a King: The Rex Archives at THNOC on the second floor of the Williams Research Center in conjunction with the larger THNOC exhibition Making Mardi Gras.
