Here's your chance to rip your kid's perpetual gaze from the unbreakable bonds of virtual gaming, and place him solidly in the real, live world. How to do it? Bring Fortnite to life. Join the Ascension Parish Library in an effort  to bring the action and imagination of online gaming into a 3D experience. The Fortnite Battle Royale will feature material scavenging and a (symbolic) fight for survival. For grades 4–12. 10:30 am at Galvez on November 19; 10:30 am at Gonzales on November 23, and 4 pm at Dutchtown on November 26. Free. myapl.org.
