The Ogden Museum of Southern Art is opening its doors to families entirely free of admission to celebrate the exhibition A Summer’s Prayer, which explores America's love of summer through photographs. The day will feature a scavenger hunt with potential to win prizes, summer-themed art activities, and family-friendly entertainment from the Homer Plessy Community School Orchestra and a puppet show by the Ogden's teen interns. Food from Tangerine Kitchen will be available for purchase, and nonprofit organizations including Electric Girls, The Green Project, Urban Conservancy, and more will be on-site offering community partner activities. 10 am until 2 pm.
