George Dunbar: Mining the Surface

Widely influential artist George Dunbar, who is known for his progressive works of contemporary abstraction, has been honored with the Opus Lifetime Achievement Award this year, presented by the Ogden Museum of Southern Art. At the age of ninety-five, Dunbar is debuting a brand-new collection of mixed-media paintings at Callan Contemporary. A reception will take place on December 5 from 6 pm–8 pm. callancontemporary.com.
