If you're a World War II buff and/or Tom Hanks fan, you've likely already seen the feature film Greyhound streaming on AppleTV+: an exciting, large-budget period drama based on novel The Good Shepherd by C.S. Forester, featuring none other than Tom Hanks as Navy Commander Ernest Krause, and filmed right in Baton Rouge on the USS Kidd. Now that the film is released for streaming, the USS Kidd/Veteran's museum is offering a more tangible exhibit featuring one of Hanks' costumes, along with several props used during filming. The exhibit is currently available for viewing with regular museum admission, and will be through Labor Day during the museum's typical hours of 9:30 am — 3:30 pm.
