A Halloween Night at the Museum
Louisiana Art & Science Museum 100 River Road South, Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70802
Enjoy Halloween in a new way at the second annual Halloween Night at the Museum. Don your Halloween attire and experience three special showings in a full-dome planetarium, including the presenter-led sky show, The Astronomical World of Harry Potter (7 pm), along with Harry Potter-themed goodies to enjoy or take home. Get a Platform 100¾ ticket to discover how a few Harry Potter characters got their names, then take an interactive quiz before receiving your O.W.L. certificate. Have a butterbeer at the Leaky Cauldron, and enjoy a goodie bag of Halloween treats. Stick around for Fright Light (8 pm), a laser light show set to a spooky soundtrack, or the much anticipated return of Pink Floyd: Dark Side of the Moon (9 pm), both back for one night only! Costumes (family-friendly, please) are encouraged but not required. No masks, please. Fright Light and Pink Floyd are each $5 for members, $7 for nonmembers; all other activities are free. Show admission is limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Festivities begin at 6:30 pm at the Louisiana Art & Science Museum. lasm.org.
