Half the fun of Halloween is spending the month leading up watching all the scary movies you can handle. Just a little bit frightening, and definitely hilarious, is Hocus Pocus (1993), and the East Baton Rouge Parish Main Library will offer a screening on the plaza for the whole family on Friday, October 13. Bette Midler, Kathy Najimy, and Sarah Jessica Parker star as the disgruntled Sanderson sisters, back to wreak havoc on the town of Salem three hundred years after being tried (and convicted) as witches.
