Hands-On Happenings: Ebb & Flow

"Hands off!" is the rule of thumb (in more ways than one) at most museums, but each month the Louisiana Art & Science Museum invites its patrons to get interactive with the art during "Hands-On Happenings." This month, play with Shrinky Dink plastic sheets outside the museum during both days of the inaugural Ebb & Flow Festival. On Saturday, the museum will also be partnering with the Department of Environmental Quality, the LSU Museum of Natural Science, and NASA Solar System Ambassadors. Visitors will experiment with an interactive river model, unique animal specimens, and engaging hands-on astronomy activities. 10 am–4 pm on Saturday; 1 pm–4 pm on Sunday. lasm.org.
