Harper (known in music circles simply as "Harper") creates a heady mix of roots music through creative use of the harmonica and the haunting drone of his native country's didgeridoo. With his Detroit-based band Midwest Kind, Harper is currently touring his latest album, "Show Your Love," and will make a stop at Smoot's Grocery this evening. 9 am–1 am at 319 North Broadway.
