Horses & Hope Celebration

Go Southern chic for an afternoon at Folsom's Carousel Farms this Sunday for Equine Reflections, Inc.'s first annual fundraising event, the Horses & Hope Celebration. Guests will enjoy savory local cuisine while sipping on autumnal aperitifs, and will also get the opportunity to meet the organization's key community partners, staff, and "four-legged therapists." Harp music, performed by Judy Seghers, will fill the air, and the yard will be filled with interactive art activities and games, a silent auction, and raffles. Clyde, the celebrity Clydesdale mascot, will also present a special performance. 

All funds raised will go towards covering costs for the youth human trafficking victim residents of Free Indeed Home to attend Equine Reflections' ten-week Equine Assisted Learning rehabilitation program, and will also provide financial aid and scholarships for qualifying children, adults and families in need of various learning and therapy sessions. They will also help to pay for the feed, hay, farrier, and veterinary costs of Equine Reflections' fifteen trained therapy horses, all of which have been rescued and/or rehabilitated from traumas themselves.
