Louisiana Tech Alumni enjoy an opening reception of Illustrating Health at LASM on August 23.

Though often overlooked, medical illustrations provide important information about human anatomy and physiology that isn't necessarily visible to the human eye. The Louisiana Art & Science Museum (LASM) has collaborated with Louisiana Tech University’s Visual Integration of Science Through Art (VISTA) Center on its latest exhibition—which aims to magnify viewers' appreciation for the connections between art and science via the too-often-disregarded work of medical illustrators. lasm.org.
