When it comes to mortality, artist Kelsey Livingston's work reflects less of what is lost, and more of what remains. "One can expect to see lots of bones, but not gore," she says. An exhibition of her recent work, collected in (Im)permanence, will be on display through October at the Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge Firehouse Gallery. A Masquerade reception will be held on Friday, October 18 from 6 pm–8 pm. artsbr.org.
