The Meridian Museum of Art in the historic Old Carnegie Library is hosting the annual Invitational Mississippi Clay Works Exhibition alongside the inaugural Mississippi Clay Conference, which will take place throughout downtown Meridian. The exhibition, developed and curated by Antoinette Bandenhorst, features thirty-four clay artists from across the United States and globe, including Mississippi ceramicists like Natchez's Conner Burns. An opening reception will take place from 6 pm–8 pm on October 7, featuring keynote speaker Malcolm White, former Executive Director of the Mississippi Arts Commission. meridianmuseum.org.
