Irish Wine and Food Experience

The fun lovin' folks of the Baton Rouge Irish Club invite all to a culinary event to benefit the annual Irish Film Fest. The fundraiser, to be held at (where else?) Celtic Media Centre, promises wine and food prepared and presented by popular area restaurants. This year's featured restaurant  is The Gregory, recently opened in downtown's Watermark Hotel. Other restaurants participating in this year’s event are Beausoleil Restaurant and Bar, Bonefish Grill, Cafe’ Americain Restaurant, Carrabba’s Italian Grill, City Pork Brasserie and Bar, Desserts First, Flemings Steakhouse, Gourmet Girls, Mansurs on the Boulevard, Nothing Bundt Cakes and South Fin Southern Poké.

The Nick Abraham Band will be on hand providing standard jazz and Irish selections, plus there will be live and silent auctions. $50 tickets available at Elizabethan Gallery (680 Jefferson Highway) or at bririshclub.com. 7 pm at 10000 Celtic Drive.
