J. Low’s Fall Festival and Duck Derby

Join Girl Scouts Louisiana East for a Saturday of fun camp activities and friendly competition at the annual J.Low Fall Festival and Duck Derby. The fall festival and birthday celebration will include canoeing, kayaking, archery, pony rides, face painting, hayrides, SWAPS, and the Duck Derby. Hundreds of plastic ducks will race in heats beginning at 2:30 pm, with prizes for the winners. Participants will “quack” on their ducks as they try to swim to victory! The winner of the grand prize will receive a $200 of Girl Scout ‘duck dough’ gift card, which can be used for camp, programs, and shop items for Girl Scout members. At Camp Marydale (10317 Marydale Rd.) 1 pm–5 pm. 

The entrance fee for the festival is $25 for one duck and five fest tickets. Adopt your ducks and register at Eventbrite.
