Photography of Bryan S. Berteaux

On exhibition at the Main Library at Goodwood throughout October, New Orleans native Bryan S. Berteaux's photographs illustrate imagery of the every day, nothing special—yet somehow so very special when frozen and contemplated—world around us. A retired photojournalist with the Pulitzer Prize-winning New Orleans Times-Picayune newspaper, Berteaux says that he has always enjoyed the ability to do what he loves for work. The exhibition features snapshots of Berteaux's life journey, including his travels, daily activities, and his backyard. An exhibit reception will take place at 3 pm October 12, and the show will be on display on the second floor gallery of the Main Library throughout the month. Free. ebrpl.com.
