The Art Associates Gallery on the second floor of the Central School plays host to Moss Bluff artist Shannon Simmons' most recent body of work, called Kings and Sirens. The exhibit explores the legendary tales, mythical creatures, and fantastic fables that feed the imaginations of young and old alike, from ancient times to present, all presented with the swampy colors and textures of the Louisiana landscape. The exhibit will be on display through December 2, with an opening reception on October 28. artassociates.org.
