Krewe of Mona Lisa and MoonPie Parade

Shimmy, dance, prance, and otherwise boogaloo your way through Olde Towne Slidell with Slidell's original marching club, the Krewe of Mona Lisa and MoonPie––or, take in the artful, chaotic festivities from along the route. This year, the creative parade's non-Halloween theme is “Mona Breaks Free!” Though not explicitly Halloween-centric, parade-goers and marchers alike are encouraged to attend in their "fear fest finery," to add to the festive atmosphere. The parade begins and ends at KY's in Olde Towne Slidell, marching from Robert St. along Cleveland, Second, Erlanger and First, and ends at the 200 block of Carey Street. 7 pm.  monalisaandmoonpie.com.
