LA Chapter of the Association of Gravestone Studies – inaugural meeting

The newly formed Louisiana Chapter of the Association for Gravestone Studies will be holding their first meeting in conjunction with the Letterform Characters Exhibition, currently displayed at LSU Special Collections at Hill Memorial Library. The meeting will include a walkthrough of the gravestone lettering examples exhibited by Graphic Design Professor Lynne Baggett at 9:30am and will be followed by an informal information session and meeting concerning the organization and what it hopes to accomplish. 9 am-12:30 pm.
